A 19th century oil on canvas. Original artwork of a brother and sister. This double portrait has got some wonderful details. They are standing beneath an oak tree clearly visible from the shape of the leaves and the acorns. The little boy wears burgundy velvet the girl is in full silk skirt with a bodice, The textures have been well painted. The little boys face is particularly fine- Artist unknown. Babes in the wood is what I’m calling it. The frame is a good one and the size is extremely large if you’re looking for a wall filler 86 cm wide by 124 cm in length
